Taylor Swift’s makeup artist doesn’t wanna keep secrets just to keep you.
In fact, the “Karma” singer’s longtime makeup artist Lorrie Turk—whose client list also includes Reese Witherspoon and Sadie Sink—has finally revealed the answer to a longstanding mystery: Taylor’s lipstick choice.
“So many people asking about this lipstick that Taylor wears all the time,” Lorrie wrote on since-deleted Oct. 1 Instagram Stories, before adding, “It’s NARS Morocco Lipstick. She’s worn it for years.”
To further emphasize the brand, Lorrie shared a screenshot of the specific red shade to her Story, writing, “This one.”
The beauty professional also included pictures of the “Anti Hero” singer sporting the warm cinnamon lipstick in recent outings, including as part of Taylor’s yellow and black grunge look that she wore to the 2024 MTV VMAs. Taylor also rocked the matte shade at the Sept. 5 Kansas City Chiefs football game alongside her denim ‘fit, which included a corset-style top, jean shorts and thigh-high red leather boots that complemented her red lip, classic thing that you like.
And the beauty reveal couldn’t come soon enough, as Swifties have eagerly been asking Lorrie for Taylor’s lipstick details for forever.
On Lorrie’s Sept. 12 Instagram post showing off Taylor’s VMAs look, one user commented, “I need to know the lipstick please!”
Another wrote, “She looks stunning! What lipstick did you use?”
And another added, “Can you tell us what lipstick shes wearing.”
Many of Swift’s fans believed the recent red lip was a shade from Pat McGrath Labs, a brand that Taylor has partnered with in the past—even giving the founder a cameo in her 2022 “Bejeweled” music video—but Lorrie put those questions to bed by setting the record straight.
But unfortunately for those wanting to twin with the pop star, the product has already sold out on NARS Cosmetics’ website. Similarly, the same Morocco shade in the company’s Air Matte Lip Color is currently listed as “out of stock.”
As for the origin of Taylor’s signature red lip? Makeup artist Gucci Westman claimed to have the answer.
"I remember I was the first one to give her a red lip," Gucci told ELLE Australia in an October 2023 interview. "It was for an Allure cover. She'd never worn a red lip."
However, the beauty expert was originally told by the “Cardigan” singer’s team, “Taylor doesn't do red."
But, thankfully, Gucci pushed back and said, “Well, Taylor needs to try red.”
Read on for more of Taylor’s best looks that prove she’ll never go out of style.
While supporting Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24, her first-ever NFL game at Arrowhead Stadium, Taylor Swift sported DÔEN's white Lois Tank and Ksubi's distressed denim shorts, which she paired with a Chiefs windbreaker and matching New Balance sneakers.
For the Chiefs' Oct. 1 game against the New York Jets, held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Taylor wore Area's denim shorts, which quickly sold out. The singer completed the look with Christian Louboutin boots and Gant's relaxed leather shirt.
And Taylor couldn't forget her signature red lip for the star-studded game.
For the Chiefs' Oct. 12 game, where she spent time with Travis' dad Ed Kelce, Taylor wore a Chiefs jacket from WEAR, a line by Erin Andrews (who Travis has credited for connecting him with Taylor).
Taylor, who also spent time with quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany Mahomes at the game, sported a Balenciaga corset top underneath the Chiefs jacket.
Taylor had an extra special accessory on her wrist for the Chiefs' Oct. 22 game: An Erimish bracelet with Travis' jersey number on it.
...we can't calm down.
Taylor sported a long red fleece jacket over a black high neck top, paired with her signature red lip.
The singer was all smiles as she watched the game with Brittany Mahomes.
For her ninth Chiefs game, Taylor sported a cream varsity jacket bearing the team's logo and a patch that read "Tay-Tay."
During a freezing Kansas City Chiefs-Miami Dolphins Game in Kansas City, Mo., Taylor cheers on her boyfriend and his team while wearing a custom-made puffer coat made to look like a Kelce Chiefs jersey, designed by Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
